Blagoveshchensky Cathedral

Blagoveshensky Cathedral in Kazan Kremlin is the oldest surviving architectural monument of the region, built between 1555 and 1562 by pskov masters. It is a white-stone five-domed church with six pillars, constructed on the site of an earlier wooden church after the capture of Kazan by Ivan the Terrible. Inside the cathedral one can see fragments of original XVI century frescoes. There is a museum at the cathedral that tells about its history. The cathedral is a significant monument of Russian architecture from the era of Ivan the Terrible.

The Orthodox Church of the Theophany in Kazan was built in 1897. It is located on Bauman Street, a well-known pedestrian zone of the city. Farmers' Palace

The Palace of Farmers is located in Kazan at Fedoseyevskaya, 36. The building, constructed in 2010, is designed in an eclectic style with elements of classicism and ампир. The central part of the palace features a majestic arched portal with a bronze tree 20 meters high. From the observation deck, there is a picturesque view of the Kazan Kremlin and the banks of the Kazanka River. Here is located the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.

V.I. Lenin Museum House

V.I. Lenin House-Museum is located in Kazan at Ulyanov-Lenina Street, 58. It features an exhibition dedicated to Vladimir Il'ich Ulyanov's student years in Kazan. Visitors can see authentic items and documents from the life of his family, including the interior of the house where the Ulyanov family lived during their time in Kazan. The museum is part of the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Vasily Aksyonov Museum-Residence

Vasily Aksyonov's House-Museum is located in Kazan on Karl Marx Street, 55/31. The writer spent a significant part of his childhood here and later lived there for over ten years after the arrest of his parents. The museum exhibits materials reflecting the creative path of one of the leading Russian prose writers of the 20th century. After the 2009 reconstruction, a memorial study room, café and literary-musical salon were opened, realizing the author's last will about creating a memorial complex.

Kazan-Kozhikovo Monastery is located in Kazan at Bolshevaya Krasnaya Street, 5. It was founded presumably no earlier than 1579 on the site of finding the miraculous icon of Our Lady of Kazan. The monastery has preserved a historical complex of several buildings: a corps with the Church of the Dormition of the Cross, Sophia Gate Church, the Abbot's and Nikolay Corps. The reconstructed Cathedral of the Icon of Our Lady of Kazan was consecrated in July 2021. Today, the abbey continues its activities.

Lenin Park in Kazan is located at Lobachevski Street, 5. This place is intended for peaceful rest among green plantations. There is a monument to victims of political repressions installed here, which became the first such memorial in Russia after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Gabdulla-Tukay-Literary-Museum

The building is an architectural monument of the early 20th century and is a two-story mansion with an area of about 430 square meters. The exterior combines elements of European medieval architecture and eclecticism with romantic modernism. A distinctive feature of the exterior is a semicircular bay window to the right of the main entrance and numerous decorative ornaments on the main part of the facade. Inside the museum there is an exhibition dedicated to the life and work of the famous Tatar poet.

Kul-Sharif Mosque

Kul-Sharif Mosque located in Kazan Kremlin, Kazan, is the main mosque of Tatarstan and a symbol of revival of Tatar culture and spirituality. The building features six minarets and turquoise domes made from granite and marble. The ensemble also includes a room for wedding ceremonies and an Islamic history museum. It was built to commemorate the destroyed mosque of the Kazan Khanate era and named after the national hero of Kazan - Seyid Kul Sharif. Construction completed in 2005.
