Kazan Kremlin

Kazan Kremlin, included in UNESCO's World Heritage List, is situated in the heart of Kazan. It houses Hermitage-Kazan center and Pushtsenny Court museum. Among its major attractions are Kul-Sharif mosque, Assumption Cathedral, leaning tower Suyumbike, and Spaso-Preobrazhensky monastery. Kremlin's architecture blends eastern and western traditions, reflecting its historical significance as an important fortress on the northern Volga Bulgaria since the 12th century. Also present within the complex are museums dedicated to Tatarstan natural history and Islamic culture.
