Alexandrovsky Passazh

Казань, Кремлёвская улица, 17

The Alexandrovsky Passage building in Kazan was constructed at the end of the 19th century with funds from merchant Alexander Sergeyevich Alexandrov by architects Vasily Susslov and Nikolay Pozdeyev. This rectangular structure with rounded corners and an internal glass-covered courtyard supported by metal pillars features facades adorned with elements of renaissance, baroque and classicism, including plant-themed plasterwork. After partial restoration, part of the passage remains intact where offices and shops are now situated.
