Lenin Garden

Lenin Garden in Kazan is a public park in the city center. Here there is a monument to victims of political repressions and a statue of poet Derzhavin. On the columns of the monument carvings say "Forgive" in four languages. The garden serves as an area for passive recreation with many trees. Nearby is Kazan University, whose territory occupies the upper terrace of the park after construction of its buildings.
