State museum artistic Art Republic Tatarstan

The State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan is situated in an historical mansion from early 20th century on Karl Marx Street in Kazan. After major renovations, the building transformed into a cultural heritage center for the city. The mansion is surrounded by a cast iron fence designed in Chebaksin artistic blacksmithing style. Nearby lies a park with a fountain. The museum showcases collections of Russian and foreign art from the 16th to early 20th centuries. For creative activities among children and teenagers, there is a resource center attached to the museum.
