Татарский академический государственный театр оперы и балета им. Мусы Джалиля

Tatar Academic State Opera and Ballet Theatre named after Musa Dzhalyul is located on Central Freedom Square in Kazan. Founded in 1934, its first building burned down in 1874; the current structure was built in 1956. The theater is known for its international-level opera and ballet performances, being the oldest such theater in the city. Named after the Tatar hero poet Musa Dzhalyul.
