Kul-Sharif Mosque

Kul-Sharif Mosque located in Kazan Kremlin, Kazan, is the main mosque of Tatarstan and a symbol of revival of Tatar culture and spirituality. The building features six minarets and turquoise domes made from granite and marble. The ensemble also includes a room for wedding ceremonies and an Islamic history museum. It was built to commemorate the destroyed mosque of the Kazan Khanate era and named after the national hero of Kazan - Seyid Kul Sharif. Construction completed in 2005.
