Gorky Park of Culture and Rest

Gorky Central Park of Culture and Rest in Kazan is one of the oldest city parks founded in the 18th century. It includes a covered skating rink, stadiums and sports fields, as well as the cemetery of Kazan revolutionaries and writers. Among numerous sculptures stand out characters from fairy tales. For children there are attractions and "Summer" cafes. The park's distinctive features include a light-and-music fountain and two bridges over ravines.
