Central Park of Culture and Rest named after Gorky

Central Park of Culture and Rest named after Gorky in Kazan is divided into two zones: the main alley with amenities for relaxation and a forest area for quiet walks and sports. There are walking paths, a children's playground, an area for playing city games and pull-up bars. The park regularly hosts picnics, sports events and chess tournaments. Previously, the park was known for visits by famous personalities such as Feodor Chaliapin and Maxim Gorky. After reconstruction in the 2000s, the park's area decreased due to construction of the Millennium Bridge.
