Azimowskaya Mosque

Azimovskaya Mosque in Kazan is situated on Fatkullina Street, 15. It is a brick single-story building constructed between 1887-1890 by merchant M.M. Azimov. The mosque has a rectangular shape with rounded corners and a four-sided roof. Its distinguishing features include a five-sided mihrab on the southern side and a tall three-tiered minaret standing 51 meters high. After being closed in 1939, the mosque was restored and renovated from 1990 to 1992, returning to the use of the Muslim community.
