Kazan Town Hall

Kazan Rathouse is situated at Karl Marx Street, 33 in Kazan. The building combines features of classicism and Empire architecture; its facade is decorated with clocks. Originally intended for the Dvoryansky Assembly, it later became the venue for the Supreme Soviet of the republic during the Soviet period. After being transferred to Kazan Rathouse in 1997, the interior of the ceremonial halls was designed in a style combining red, white and gold colors. The project author is architect Mikhail Korinfsky.
