Caban Lake Embankment in Kazan is a popular walking area situated between the Old-Tatar Quarter and Kamal Theater. There are cozy alleys with pavilions and terraces; at night and evening it is decorated with beautiful lighting. Construction of a concert hall, parking lots and cafes is ongoing. According to legend, ancient Khan treasures are hidden on the lake bottom. It is one of the main promenade zones of the city.
