Vasily Aksyonov Museum-Residence

Vasily Aksyonov's House-Museum is located in Kazan on Karl Marx Street, 55/31. The writer spent a significant part of his childhood here and later lived there for over ten years after the arrest of his parents. The museum exhibits materials reflecting the creative path of one of the leading Russian prose writers of the 20th century. After the 2009 reconstruction, a memorial study room, café and literary-musical salon were opened, realizing the author's last will about creating a memorial complex.
