Vasily Aksyonov House-Museum

The Vasily Aksyonov House-Museum is located on Karl Marx Street in Kazan. Here the writer spent his childhood and youth from 1938 to 1948. A mansion with a mansard roof built in the early 19th century became the place where memories of Aksyonov's Kazan period of creativity ("Zenitsa Oko", "Zavtraki 43-go") are reflected. The restored house was opened in 2009 with the participation of the author himself. The exhibition is dedicated to Aksyonov's childhood and youth in Kazan.
