Apanayevskaya Mosque

Казань, улица Каюма Насыри, 27

The Apanayevskaya Mosque is located in Kazan, on Kayum Nasyry Street, 27, near Lower Kaban Lake. The building combines features of Moscow baroque and Tatar decorative art. Originally it had a rectangular shape, an octagonal minaret and vaulted ceilings. After transferring the madrasa "Muhammadyia" in 1995, it was used as a kindergarten where the minaret was destroyed and internal vaults were demolished, dividing the space into three floors.
