Ushkova House

Ushkova House in Kazan is situated on Kremlevskaya Street, 33. It is a two-story plastered brick building shaped as an open courtyard with small flat risalits. Inside the house, the second floor features a grand hall in Empire style decorated with richly adorned ceilings and military symbols, along with a Chinese-style staircase with picturesque stained-glass windows and panels. The building is a local architectural monument and previously served as the main wing of the central republican library.
