The bust of Andrey Fyodorovich Deryabin was installed in Izhevsk near the dam of Izhevsk Pond on Der'yabin Street. The monument, 3.1 meters high, was unveiled to commemorate the centenary of Izhevsk Gun Factory on June 10, 1907. The sculptor is artist-decorator Ivan Nikanorich S Slonnikov, executed according to an old engraving. A plaque on the rear side of the pedestal notes the anniversary of the weapons plant. Main Building of Arms Factory

Main building of Izhevsk arms factory — an architectural monument of the 19th century built from 1808 to 1815 according to Semen Dudin's project. It is one of the city's landmark buildings recognized as a federal value object. In 1834, a fire damaged the central part of the building which was subsequently restored with new wooden structures crowned by a double-headed eagle on top of the tower commemorating victory over Napoleon. The opening of the gunmaking office on the Izh River took place on June 10, 1807, marking the founding day of the factory.

Izhorskaya Dam located in Izhevsk was built in 1760 and reconstructed from 1816 to 1824 according to designs by A.Deryabin and S.Dudin. Its length is 646.6 meters, width - 30 meters. Originally it had a length of 570 meters, width of 27.7 meters and height of 8.5 meters. In the 1980s its size almost doubled. Made of pine and oak logs with metal fastenings and filled clay voids, the dam's framework consists. River Izh flows through the dam from east to west creating Izhorsky Lake.

Since 2012 the university carries the name of outstanding designer Mikhail Kalashnikov.

Izhorsky Zoo is situated in Kirova Park, occupying an area of about 16 hectares. It features exhibits showcasing animals arranged according to zoogeographical and landscape principles. Visitors are provided with conditions closely resembling natural habitats for the animals, while they are separated from them by impact-resistant glass. In 2004, work began on the zoo's project, which soon became one of the popular recreation spots for Izhevsk residents and visitors. The emblem of the institution is Akela wolf.
Izhorsky Pond

Izhorsky Pond is the main recreation area for Izhevsk residents. It is the largest lake in the city with a water volume of 76.3 million cubic meters and about 12.5 km long. Depth varies from 3.5 to 12 meters. The pond serves as the primary source of drinking and industrial water for Izhevsk; its excavation pit took three years to dig by serf peasants manually. Annually, approximately 65-70 million cubic meters of water are taken from the pond.

For attending events artisans had to come in uniform. In memory of Maxim Gorky, his statue was installed in the park after the writer's death.
Mikhailov Column

Mikhailovskaya Column is situated on the bank of Izhevsk Pond near the Russian Drama Theatre. Its design was developed by architects of the Izhevsk Plant under the leadership of I.T. Kokovikhin. After restoration, its height is 19 meters. The angel figure, created by sculptor Pavel Medvedev, has been reduced in size and turned to another side. The column narrows from 1.6 m diameter at the bottom to 1.3 m at the top. All its elements are secured with anchor connections. Previously, there stood a metal grille made of copies and cannon barrels around the column.

The Monument to Military and Labor Glory in Izhevsk is situated on Karlutskaya Square. Its height is 10 meters, weight - about 14 tons. Monument of Peoples' Friendship — the main symbol of Izhevsk and Udmurtia, installed to commemorate the 400th anniversary of voluntary union with Russia. Two tall steel pillars symbolize Udmurtia and Russia; between them are gold-plated reliefs. Locals call it "Kulakova's skis" due to its resemblance to ski poles. In 2008, reconstruction was carried out with added lighting. The idea for the monument originated in 1958.

Under his leadership the well-known automatic rifle AN-94 "Abakan" was created, distinguished by high shooting efficiency. In the central part of Izhevsk, near cafe "Pozim" on Kraya Street, stands a pelmen monument — a three-meter-high composition depicting a giant pel'men on a fork with a diameter of one meter. The sculpture was created by artist Aleksey Shklyaev and installed at the site of an old pel'men restaurant opened in 1987. The name "pel'njan" in Udmurt means "bread ear." The opening of the monument took place on October 28, 2004.

In Izhevsk, on the Arrival Square, there is a monument to the great Russian composer Pyotr Illyich Tchaikovsky. A cast iron sculpture 4 meters high was created after five years of work and unveiled on September 8, 2020. At the base of the monument, they planted an alley of lime trees. In Izhevsk, on the territory of Akson-holding factory near the vocational school, stands a copy of the famous monument to Yuri Gagarin created by Izhevsk sculptor Pavel Medvedev. The height of the astronaut figure in his helmetless spacesuit is 3.65 meters. The monument symbolizes Gagarin's step along the ribbon-orbit. The memorial was opened on April 20, 2016; its consecration was conducted by Metropolitan Victorin of Izhevsk and Udmurtia. A copy of this sculpture is also installed in London.

The sculpture "Izik" is situated on Central Square of Izhevsk city. Depicts a boy in traditional Udmurt kaftan and hat; total weight of collected metal for its creation was about 180 kg. Monument was solemnly unveiled on November 4th, 2010 and became a symbol of Izhevsk, its mascot. Erected as part of project "250 Years to Izhevsk - 250 Kind Deeds" initiated by youth movement "Youth" from Oktyabrsky district. Dedication took place on National Unity Day, also marking 90th anniversary of Udmurt Republic's statehood and 250th anniversary of Izhevsk.
