State Puppet Theatre of the Udmurt Republic

The State Puppet Theatre of the Udmurt Republic is located at Lomonosova Street, 9 in Izhevsk. The history of the theatre began with its first puppet performance in July 1921. The official opening took place in April 1935. The theatre is the main puppet institution in the region and an important part of the cultural route of Izhevsk, helping to preserve local identity through theatrical performances.
