Warriors-Metallurgists Monument
Izhevsk, International Lane, near eastern entrance of Izstal factory
The monument to soldiers-metalworkers is in Izhevsk, near the eastern entrance of the "Izhestal" plant. It is dedicated to the factory workers who died during World War II. In May 1970, an Eternal Flame was lit here, brought from the monument to military and labor glory of the city. The monument is a regional cultural heritage site and serves as a place for ceremonial events and laying flowers.
