State Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Udmurt Republic

The State Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Udmurt Republic named after P.I. Tchaikovsky is located at Pushkinskaya Street, 221 in Izhevsk. It is an important element of the city's cultural route closely linked to the history of the city. Here a unique repertoire including opera, ballet and musical scenes of Udmurtia is formed. The theatre also has historical significance as the operatic troupe began its activities at the local dramatic theatre in the 1930s.
