State Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Udmurt Republic

The State Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Udmurt Republic named after P.I. Tchaikovsky is located at Pushkinskaya Street, 221 in Izhevsk. Founded in 1934, it initially operated under the name of theatrical combine. Known for staging national operas, including the first Udmurt opera "Natal" in 1961. It has been a state institution since 1993 and was renamed after composer Tchaikovsky in 2015.
