Kuzebau Gerd Monument

The Kuzebay Gerd Monument is located in Izhevsk on Kommunarov Street near the National Museum of Udmurtia. The sculpture depicts a bronze figure of the poet sitting on an onyx pedestal. The monument was installed by decision of the government of Udmurtia in 2005 to commemorate the memory of the Udmurt writer and public figure Kuzebay Gerd whose real name was Kuzma Pavlovich Chaynikov.
