State National Theatre of the Udmurt Republic

The State National Theatre of the Udmurt Republic is located at Maxim Gorky Street, 73 in Izhevsk. Founded in 1931 as the first professional Udmurt theatre opening with a play "Vala-River Roars", the theater is the main national musical and dramatic theatre of Udmurtia and an important part of the city's cultural route reflecting local identity and regional history.
