Money Safe Building

The Money Depository Building in Izhevsk is situated on Sverdlov Street near the Armsmakers' Square. It is one of the early stone structures of the Izhevsk Armory Factory built to store the factory's treasury. Originally it had an earth roof and a high fence around the yard. In 1852 the building was expanded and converted into a guardhouse. The wall thickness amounts to about 1.5 meters.
