Izhik Sculpture

The sculpture "Izik" is situated on Izhevsk's Central Square. It depicts a boy wearing traditional Udmurt kaftan and a hat. The monument was unveiled on November 4th, 2010 to mark the 250th anniversary of the city and Unity Day. "Izik" has become a symbol of Izhevsk and was created by youth movement "Youth" from Oktyabrsky district. There is an analogue near the entrance to the plant "Izhstal".
