Mikhail T. Kalashnikov Monument

In Izhevsk, on Studencheskaya Street, there is a monument to Mikhail Timofeyevich Kalashnikov. A bronze sculpture, 185 cm tall, weighs approximately 300 kg. The monument was created by Pavel Kirillovich Medvedev. The memorial was opened on August 30, 2019. Kalashnikov is depicted holding a book titled "I Walked with You Along the Same Road," while a pin resembling an automatic rifle AK-47 adorns his tie.
