I.D. Pastukhov Monument

The monument to I.D. Pastukhov was installed in Izhevsk at the intersection of Kommunarov Street and Krasnogeroeroaya Street. It is made of cast iron and depicts key moments from the biography of Ivan Dmitrievich Pastukhov, the first worker-revolutionary and chairman of the Izhevsk city council. Originally, the monument stood on the central square near Alexandro-Nevsky sobor. During the 2022 restoration, lost decorative elements were restored. In the early 2000s, decorative details such as two rifles and reliefs depicting scenes from the Civil War disappeared from the monument. The monument was opened on May 1, 1933.
