E. M. Kungurtsov Monument

The monument to twice Hero of the Soviet Union Evgeniy Maximovich Kungurtsov is situated in a park on Karlutskaya Square in Izhevsk. It consists of a bronze bust placed on a cylindrical granite pedestal. On the pedestal there is a bronze plate with texts of decrees about his awards. The monument is part of the memorial composition of the park and is located in its northwest section. In 1992 the bust was moved here from the Monument to Military and Labor Glory.
