National Kuzeba Gerd Museum of Udmurt Republic

The National Museum of the Udmurt Republic named after Kuzebay Gerd is located in Izhevsk on Kommunarov Street, 287. Founded in 1920 as a local folklore museum. The collections include archaeological, ethnographic, numismatic and weapon exhibits. Of particular value is the ethnographic collection featuring national costumes and peasant utensils. Since 2000 it has borne the name of eminent Udmurt writer and public figure Kuzebay Gerd.
