D. F. Ustinov Monument

The monument to D.F. Ustinov in Izhevsk is a bronze bust on a pedestal, installed in Victory Square on Karlutskaya Square next to the Eternal Flame. The monument, created by Moscow sculptor Vladimir Kurochkin, was unveiled on November 10, 2015. Dmitry Fyodorovich Ustinov, awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union, is depicted as the Minister of Defense of the USSR, a position he held from 1976 to 1984. His activities were directly related to the development of the defense industry in Udmurtia.
