Currently, it houses a club-museum of crafts and folk art of the Kaluga region, opened in 1992. The exhibition features traditional crafts from the area: ceramics, wood and textile products, as well as contemporary folk art. The building is famous for its elegant carvings and is one of the bright architectural gems of the old city.

A.L. Chizhevsky House-Museum is located in Kaluga at Moskovskaya Street, 62. Opened in 2010 as a branch of the State Museum of the History of Cosmonautics. The museum features exhibits dedicated to the life and work of the scientist known for his discoveries in aer ionization, heliobiology and electrogynecology. Here also reflected his creative side - poet and artist. Exhibits tell about Chizhevsky's first scientific steps precisely in this city.

In 1957 it received the status of regional philharmonic society and became the leading concert venue in Kaluga city. In this house, the scientist lived for 29 years, writing numerous significant works on aviation, aeronautics and space science. The interior of the rooms is fully restored to its original state, and a significant part of the museum's items are genuine. The house underwent serious repairs after the flood of 1908 when an additional second floor with the scientist's working office was added.

The exhibit highlights works made from a unique material for both Russian and global glassmaking—quartz glass.
Korobov's Palaces

Korobov's Chambers — the oldest residential building in Kaluga, built in the 17th century. Executed in the style of Moscow "Naryshkin" Baroque, the chambers are a typical wooden construction "two log cabins" with cellars, porch and entrance hall. In these chambers, in 1897, the provincial historical museum was opened, which became the city's first public museum.

St-Troizky Cathedral — the main cathedral of Kaluga, located in its historical center on Old Market Square. The facade and plan design project was created by architect Ivan Yasnygin at the end of the XVIII century. A distinctive feature of the cathedral is its dome without supports, which became the largest in Russia at that time and exceeds the dome of Kazan Cathedral in St Pyotrsburg by 2.5 meters. Local residents call the cathedral the heart of old Kaluga.
Zolotarev's Mansion

Zotorevy Mansion in Kaluga on Pushkin Street, 14 is unique architectural heritage of early 19th century. Built between 1805-1808, the house features original wall paintings, parquet floors, marble elements and plasterwork designed under the guidance of Italian master Santino Campioni. Today it houses Kaluga Regional Museum of Local History; the second floor includes two grand salons and living rooms.
