Corobov's Palaces

Korobov's Palaces — a monument of civil architecture from the 17th century situated on Plekhanova Street, 88 in Kaluga. This is the oldest residential building in the city, constructed in the style of Moscow "Naryshkin" baroque based on wooden chambers "two logs" with cellars, vestibules and porch. In 1897 it became home to the provincial historical museum, while since 1977 it houses the museum-ethnographic complex of the Kaluga united reserve museum.
