Korobov's Palaces

Korobov's Chambers — the oldest residential building in Kaluga, built in the 17th century. Executed in the style of Moscow "Naryshkin" Baroque, the chambers are a typical wooden construction "two log cabins" with cellars, porch and entrance hall. In these chambers, in 1897, the provincial historical museum was opened, which became the city's first public museum.
