Meeting of Korolev and Tsiolkovsky Sculptural Composition

Sculptural composition "Meeting Korolev and Tsiolkovsky" is situated at the intersection of Tsiolkovsky and Korolev streets in Kaluga. The opening took place in 2011, commemorating the anniversary - 50th anniversary of the first manned space flight. The sculpture symbolizes the creative collaboration between Tsiolkovsky, the founder of space theory, and Korolev, an outstanding rocket and space technology designer. The composition is located in a small garden and is part of the city environment, close to the State Museum of the History of Cosmonautics.
