Zolotarev Estate

Zolotarev Estate in Kaluga on Pushkin Street, 14 stands out due to the preservation of ancient paintings, parquet flooring, marble elements and plasterwork created during construction from 1805-1808 under the supervision of Italian master Santino Campioni. Currently, it houses Kaluga Regional Museum of Local Lore featuring departments of history and nature. Exhibits in these departments depict life in the region through dioramas showcasing flora and fauna of Kaluga Oblast throughout different seasons.
