Gostiny Dvor

Gostiny Dvor in Kaluga - the city's main attraction, a federal cultural heritage site. The complex arose in late XVIII century and includes fourteen buildings forming an inner court. Construction began in 1782, with the last building completed in 1823. Restoration was finished in 2015, after which an outdoor festival area opened up inside the court. The project was designed by gubernatorial architect Pyotr Romanovich Nikitin.
