Golden Alley

Golden Alley in Kaluga appeared in the early 19th century under Governor Pyotr Kaverin and runs along the high slope of Berezuysky Ravine. It features a bust of Alexander Pushkin by sculptor Klimenko, installed in 1949 for the poet's 150th anniversary, as well as the Pioneer Monument, known as the "photographer pioneer." At the end of 2024, several lighting lines were laid along the alley and garlands were hung, while the obelisk near the Stone Bridge was recognized as a monument of monumental art of federal significance. This place serves as a venue for themed events and educational street actions.
