Voskresenskaya Street

Voskresenskaya Street in Kaluga is one of the city's most beautiful historical streets. Here, there has been virtually unchanged old construction preserved. The name comes from the lost Voskresenskaya church. In the 18th century, the street was inhabited by craftsmen of various professions. On Voskresenskaya, the first cobblestone pavement of Kaluga appeared and asphalt laying began in the city. Also, famous films were shot here.
