Astronomical Observatory of the Space Museum

The Astronomical Observatory is part of the State Museum of the History of Cosmonautics named after K. E. Tsiolkovsky in Kaluga. It is equipped with three powerful telescopes with digital receivers for photography, allowing observation of the Sun, Moon, planets, and Earth's artificial satellites. The dome of the structure is designed according to the AllSky scheme and is operated remotely. Tours for groups of up to 15 people last from 30 to 50 minutes, but the observatory does not operate in winter, as well as during strong winds, rain, snow, or fog.
