Nikitsky Church

Nikitsky Church in Kaluga is situated at Lenina Street, 106. This stone building was constructed by parishioners in 1685. From 1799 to 1819 it served as the cathedral church of the city. In 2021, a Museum of Orthodox History on Kaluga Land was opened in its basement floor. There is also an spiritual enlightenment center operating there, along with Sunday schools for children and adults. A monument to Pyotr and Feodora Muromsky stands in the park near the church; the park was renovated in 2012.
