Stone Bridge

Stone Bridge in Kaluga - the oldest and largest bridge in Russia built according to the type of ancient Roman viaducts. Its length is 112 meters, height - 23 meters, it rests on 15 large stone arches. Construction took place from 1777 to 1780 under the supervision of Kaluga's first provincial architect Pyotr Nikitin. The bridge spanning Berezuysky ravine is an object of federal cultural heritage.
