Holy George "Behind the Benches" Temple

Georgy Church "Behind the Benches" in Kaluga - a stone building erected in 1700. Is a federal cultural heritage site. After being transferred to the Kaluga diocese in 2009, restoration work has been underway. In the 1930s, it lost its upper parts of the bell tower and domes. It features a four-sided roof with five domes in the center and a bell tower with four narrowing tiers. The church's quadrangle retains the architectural features of the 17th century and is named due to its location behind the former Gostiny Dvor ("benches").
