State Museum of the History of Cosmonautics Named After K.E. Tsiolkovsky in Kaluga - the largest museum in Russia dedicated to space exploration. Established with involvement from S.P. Korolev and Y.A. Gagarin; opened on October 3, 1967. Considered the first worldwide specialized museum focused on space themes. Construction began in 1963, with the first stone laid by Y.A. Gagarin.
