Niccolo-Cosima Church

Nikolo-Kozhinskaya Church is situated in Kaluga on Nikolo-Kozhinskaya Street. The building of the temple was erected on the site of the former wooden structure transferred here in 1775-1779. In 1844, next to the church, an annex with two side chapels was added: one consecrated to the Theotokos of Tikhvin, another dedicated to Saints Moscow Pyotr, Alexis, Ioann, Philip and Hermogenes. A three-tier bell tower with a golden helmet-shaped dome was built nearby. The temple was constructed using funds from local residents.
