130th Quarter, also known as Irkutsk Sloboda, is located in the southern part of the historical center of Irkutsk at the foot of Krestovaya Hill. This complex, noted for winning the International Architectural Festival "Zodchestvo" in 2010, is an area of historic construction. The Church of the Epiphany in Irkutsk is the city's second oldest stone church, founded in 1693 outside the Irkutsk Kremlin. The building survived two devastating earthquakes in the 18th century and a fire in 1879 that stopped at its walls. The cathedral was built over more than 28 years and consecrated in 1746. From 1968 to 1986 it housed an ethnographic museum. The temple was returned to the Orthodox Church in 1994.

Eternal Flame Memorial in Irkutsk is located on Polish Insurgents Street near the regional government building. It was opened on May 9, 1975 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of victory over fascism. The complex honors the memory of Siberian warriors who died fighting against Nazi German invaders. Annual solemn events are held here on Victory Day. The eternal flame burns from a torch brought from Moscow after visiting the Unknown Soldier's grave. The project architect was V. Fedorin and the artistic design was created by V. Smagin.
Moscow Gates

"Moscow Gates" is Irkutsk's main symbol, installed in 2001 at its former historical location. It is a majestic arch 19 meters high and over 16 meters wide, decorated with columns, bas-reliefs and plasterwork. Originally built in 1813 to commemorate the tenth anniversary of Emperor Alexander I's reign, they were destroyed after 115 years. Under the portico there is a room for tea parties.

Icebreaker "Angara", located in Irkutsk at Marshal Zhukov Avenue, 36a/1, is a branch of the Irkutsk Regional Museum of Local Lore. The ship, built in England at the end of the XIX century, for many years ensured navigation on Lake Baikal. Now it is in semi-submerged condition after decommissioning in the 1960s and serves as an open-air museum where exhibits about the history of shipping on Baikal are displayed. The exhibition is held at a permanent berth near Irkutsk Reservoir.
V.P. Sukachev Mansion-Museum

V.P. Sukachev's Estate in Irkutsk is located at December Events Street, 112. It is a wooden XIX-century house with unique architecture: tower annex, rich carving, white cornices and lace window frames give it the look of a fairy-tale palace. The exhibition includes antique furniture, porcelain sets, books, piano and owner's personal letters. The estate is also known for its preserved Winter Garden and serves as a branch of Irkutsk Art Museum. Vladimir Sukachev, city head of Irkutsk, was a well-known collector who founded an art gallery that became the basis of local art museum.

Admiral Aleksandr Vasilyevich Kolchak Memorial is in Irkutsk near Znamensky Monastery on Angarskaya Street. It is the first such monument in Russia featuring a bronze admiral figure in a trench coat on a pedestal with a relief showing a Red Army soldier and a White Guard soldier lowering their bayonets. Admiral was famous as a polar explorer and leader of the white movement during the Civil War, frequently giving lectures at Irkutsk University. He was executed here in 1920.
Alexander III Monument

Harlampievskaya Church

Harlampievskaya (Mikhail-Arkhangelskaya) Church in Irkutsk is the only sea temple in Siberia. Construction of the stone building began in 1764, while the first wooden church existed since 1738. The church became the sixth town parish in Irkutsk and for a long time was associated with the governor-general's house of Eastern Siberia. Here Admiral Alexander Kolchak got married in 1904.
