Znamensky Cathedral

Znamensky Cathedral is located in Irkutsk on Angarskaya Street, 14. The stone building of the church was laid in 1757 instead of the previous wooden church. It is part of the Znamensky Female Monastery ensemble and surrounded by annexes and bell tower. The cathedral is dedicated to the icon of Our Lady "Znamenie" and serves as the main monastery church. Here they venerate the icon "Znamenie".
