Kazan Cathedral

Kazan Cathedral is located in Irkutsk at Barrikad Street, 34/1. The church was built in the Russian-Byzantine style with characteristic abundant facade decor and uses elements of ancient Russian and Byzantine architecture. The cathedral's foundation stone was laid on July 27, 1885, it is one of the most beautiful in the city and serves as the cathedral of Irkutsk Diocese.
