Angara Icebreaker Museum

Icebreaker "Angara" - branch of Irkutsk Regional Ethnographic Museum. Ship manufactured in England at the end of the 19th century and used for maintaining navigation on Lake Baikal for decades. Currently it is in semi-submerged condition at permanent berth near Irkutsk Reservoir. Exhibition includes materials about history of shipping on the lake. Originally launched in 1900, it was decommissioned in the 1960s.
