Kaisa Ancient Grove

Kayskaya Grove - an area under protection as a natural monument covering about 70 hectares situated between Lermontova Street and Baikalskaya in Irkutsk. It serves as habitat for local flora and fauna and is used for environmental education of city residents. The grove preserves a natural forested area within a large populated area and forms part of Irkutsk's ecological framework.
