Crooked Cross Church

The Church of the Dormition of the Cross is located on Sедов Street in Irkutsk, towering above Tимирязева Street. It is a unique monument of world architecture originally built from wood between 1717-1719 to commemorate the Полтавian Battle, then reconstructed in stone in 1758. The building features rich facade decor and stands out with its three-tiered tower flanked by two smaller towers.
