Irkutskiy Regional Music Theatre named after N.M. Zagursky

The Irkutsk Regional Music Theatre named after N.M. Zagursky is situated at Sedyova Street, 29 in Irkutsk. Founded in 1940 as the Irkutsk Musical Comedy Theatre, its first performance was with operetta "Wedding in Malinovka". The theatre moved to its current building in 1990 following construction specifically for it. Among notable artists who performed there were Wacław Nijinsky and Ekaterina Gelser.
