Irkutsk Regional Art Museum V.P. Sukachev

Irkutsk Regional Art Museum named after V.P. Sukachev is situated in Irkutsk on Lenina Street, 5. It is the largest art museum in Eastern Siberia and the Far East with over 23 thousand works of art including pieces by Shishkin, Vasnetsov, Repin and other Russian artists as well as ancient Russian icons, paintings by Dutch masters and Oriental art. The museum has several exhibition venues: Gallery of Siberian Art and Sukachev's Estate. Regularly held here are exhibitions of contemporary and classical art.
