Irkutsk Regional Historical and Memorial Museum of Decembrists

Irkutsk Regional Historical and Memorial Museum of Decembrists includes two houses-museums: Volkonsky Mansion at Volkonsky Lane, 10 and Trubetskoy Mansion on Dzerzhinsky Street, 64. Here lived decembrist exiles after suppression of the uprising on Senate Square in 1825. The museum recreates musical life at Volkonsky Mansion, organizes thematic events and historical evenings. Visitors can buy a combined ticket to view both mansions.
