Irkutsk City Theatre of Popular Drama

Irkutsk City Theatre of Popular Drama is located at 13A Mukhina St., Irkutsk. It is a municipal cultural institution with artistic director Mikhail Kornev, honored artist of Russia. The theater is known for its performances addressing historical themes such as the lives of Russian knights, Cossacks, and the era of Pyotr I. The building was restored after moving to its new location in 1999 from the former cinema "Baikal".
